For about 4 years now I have been discerning the Christian faith, coming from a completely unknowledgeable background. I have always had some believe in some type of god, but I have now come to the conclusion that God really exists and has revealed himself through his only begotten son, my lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I've spent the last few years doing research into the early church in order to find out what church is most inline with the faith so that I can join and serve the church of Jesus Christ. Currently I am most seriously looking towards the Catholic Church, followed by the Orthodox Church.

I work in construction as a general contractor/carpenter, moving towards designing and manufacturing decorative pieces made from concrete, hardwood and possibly metal. My goal with this is to eventually be able to make creative pieces as a full time job replacing my current job.

I am currently learning Latin with the help of online courses, AI-assisted excersises and I might eventually join an actual physical class as that might be more productive for me. My reason for learning Latin is primarily an increasing awe and respect for the church fathers and theologians such as Saint Thomas Aquinas and Saint Augustine.
